How to form the carbon fiber products

Composites appeared in the United States in the 1940s. Molding: Apply the prepreg carbon fiber to the mold. When all the composites materials are bonded, close the mold and place the mold on the molding machine table. After a certain period of high temperature and high pressure, the resin solidifies and the carbon fiber products are formed and finished. In this process, the two factors of temperature and time need to be well controlled. The molding process has the advantages of high efficiency, good quality and high dimensional accuracy. It is suitable for the mass production of carbon fiber products with high strength.

Autoclave: Firstly, lay up the prepreg carbon fiber sheets on the product molds according to the laying-up requirements, sealed the mold in the vacuum bag, sunk the vacuum bag to the vacuum condition, and then moved in the autoclave. In the vacuum condition, the product is solidified through the heating and pressurization procedures of the autoclave. This production process is applicable to the production of box, shells, or other products with curve surfaces.
